FUCIS provides a full range of person-centered day program services designed to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities build skills, independence, and community connections.
Every participant at FUCIS receives an individualized program plan built around their unique goals, strengths, and interests. Our experienced team works closely with participants, families, and regional center coordinators to ensure each person receives the right level of support.
We prepare participants for competitive employment through resume writing, interview coaching, workplace etiquette, and hands-on vocational skill building. Our job readiness curriculum is tailored to each individual's career interests and abilities.
We empower participants to speak up for themselves, understand their rights, and make informed decisions about their lives. Group sessions and one-on-one coaching build confidence and communication skills.
Participants learn to navigate public transportation, access community resources, and engage meaningfully in their neighborhoods. We connect individuals with libraries, recreation centers, civic programs, and more.
Our health and safety curriculum covers personal hygiene, nutrition basics, emergency preparedness, and infectious disease prevention. We partner with healthcare providers to support whole-person wellness.
Our services are available to adults (18+) with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are enrolled with a regional center in Los Angeles or Riverside County. Participants must have an active Individual Program Plan (IPP) and regional center authorization for day program services.
