What Is the Self-Determination Program?
The Self-Determination Program is a voluntary alternative to traditional regional center services. Participants receive an individual budget and work with a Financial Management Service (FMS) to purchase the supports they choose. FUCIS provides person-centered planning, coaching, and support coordination to help individuals make the most of their SDP budget.

Am I Eligible?
The Self-Determination Program is available to individuals of all ages who receive services from a California regional center. Participants must be willing to take an active role in planning and managing their services. Contact your regional center service coordinator to learn more about enrolling in SDP.
